Rocky Balboa

Watched Rocky Balboa 2006 the other night and was surprisingly impressed. Quite a well thought out and excuted film when I thought they would have exhausted all Rocky possibilities.

What did Mike think?

It took me a while to get into the Hellboy mindset but thought this was a cracker for the humour factor alone. Ignore the plot - just crack up at "Red" and "Blue" getting pissed up on beers listening/singing along to Barry Manilow records. Good action film with very amusing characters and plenty of opportunity for further stories.

Terminator Salvation 2009

10/06/2009 - Review of Terminator Salvation by Mike and Angela

Really quite impressed with this film. All about John Connor in the future trying to find Kyle Reese and send him back to the past to save Sarah Connor (from original Terminator film). Film centres on the this plot but also the plight of a death-row convinct Marcus Wright (played by Matthew Worthington) who agrees to be part of a Skynet expereiment making him half-man, half-machine. Great character and very compelling performance from Matthew.

Definitely worth seeing we give this 4/5.
